Update (24-05-2021): We are able to travel to our office again and are continuing to fulfill orders to locations where deliveries of non-essentials are permitted. Our delivery policy as highlighted in our earlier blog post remains in effect.

As you may be aware, a lockdown came into effect in West Bengal starting from the 16th of May 2021. While e-commerce companies are ostensibly allowed to operate during the lockdown, we are facing some practical difficulties in fulfilling orders.

The police have set up check-points throughout the city, and are not allowing any car to pass without a valid permit. Further, they are refusing to issue us a permit as we are not essential. As such although we are allowed to open our business, we are unable to, due to the current ground realities.

While we shall keep requesting the permit under the exemption for e-commerce businesses, please understand that there might be delays in fulfilling your orders.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
