Inspiration
Of all the art styles that have influenced my taste over time, few have had the
impact of Art Nouveau, particularly the works of Alphonse Mucha. While I am
not the master painter that Mucha was, the graphical nature of his work deeply
influenced my taste in art. In this set I want to bring a bit of the Art Nouveau
graphic beauty to the keyboard.
For the colors I was inspired by the Summer panel of one of Mucha’s Seasons polyptychs.
The cream is reminiscent of the model’s skin, the blue is the sky, and the red is the lips.
