Description

Quite possibly your favourite linear switch once you actually have these in your hands!

These are an in-house linear switch design by AEBoards, with an ultra-smooth stem action.

They use the same materials as the R1.5 Naevies, with a custom mixed PE stem material proprietary to AEBoards and factory oiled springs.

Specifications

Linear Stem:

Smooth stem with extended pole.
  • Bottoms out a little bit earlier.
  • Adds tolerances for keycaps with north facing switches.
  • This stem mold is owned by AEBoards

Material:

Custom Mixed PE (MPE):

  • UHMWPE stems are one of the smoothest plastics around due to its very low coefficient of friction, however this material suffers from shrinkage rates. Our solution was to create a MPE that enables us to get smoothness and good shrinking rates.
